Have Authority
Use your specific knowledge or valuable skill to promote yourself as an authority to help others. Lead a seminar, workshop, or meet up. When leading one of these, you position yourself as an expert and potentially generate new revenue if you charge a fee. You may also toss around the idea of creating a blog or publication.
Reach Out
You should be making yourself and your business visible by reaching out to others. We have so many options to reach people around the world! Social media is just that, Social. LinkedIn is the place to be if you are B2B. TikTok is a great space to share any talent or skill you have, if you are not a “creative” brand then just show your personality so people can relate to you as a person. Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat are all platforms for you to reach, connect and expose your service or products to followers and potentially open you up to a whole new audience.
Invest in Customers
There is a saying “it is always easier to keep a sale, then to get a sale”. It costs less and takes less effort to retain current customers than to obtain new ones. Find a way to stay connected with those who are already familiar with and love your business. These customers are the promoters to the rest of the world for your business and should be treated with care. Your customer has already invested in you and now trusts you. Provide value, special sales or discounts to loyal customers or even a great referral discount.
Visibility is revenue, if they don’t know who you are, they won’t choose you. Is your business exactly where you want it to be? Are you in a position to turn customers away? If not, then you need to be VISIBLE!
I know you are thinking, when will I have time to spend hours on social media showcasing my company, my service, my product, my value? I am here to tell you, focus on the day to day and reach out for help. You are an expert at what you do, I am an expert at what you need. Let’s get creative together. I want to talk to you!
