What is a Social Media Manager, and Do you really need one!
Building and running a business is A LOT of work. Especially if you are struggling to grow and or have grown fast. No matter what season you are in there is always more to do and we are not given more hours to get it done. There are so many moving parts that are included when branding or marketing a business, and social media is one of the LARGEST contributors to traffic today.
With all the moving parts that you are trying to keep up within your daily business tasks, do you really have time to sit and post, research, target, track, create all things social media? I know most of us take time out to check our Facebook and see the latest news or posts and read all the latest top celeb tweets. Doing all these things though, are on a personal level and will not help drive traffic to your website, door or blogs.
Most business owners will admit that once they start to investigate social media ads, pixels, or even business manager for Facebook they get lost and down the rabbit hole they go. Before you know it, you are feeling frustrated, overwhelmed and frankly clueless. You will push this task to another day because remember you have so many things that are moving in your daily business that you need to turn your energy to.
What is a Social Media Manager?
We have discussed how as a business owner you are crunched for time. We covered how there are so many moving parts when it comes to social media platforms and how easy it is to get lost or frustrated. As a social media manager, you ask what it is I do. The short answer is A LOT.
I am the person who relieves you of this time-consuming task and allows you to focus on what you are great at in your day to day with your business.
Social media managers curate a brand’s social channels. We monitor, moderate and respond to audience comments and questions. I take care of all your social media platforms which includes Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, etc., creating content, posting, interacting, engaging, monitoring analytics, pins, and ad campaigns.
So, the question is do you need a social media manager?
My question is, do you own a business? If Yes, Then Absolutely you need a social media manager. As I always say, you are an expert at what you do, and I am an expert at what you need!
